Hung By the Chimney With Care

I get so excited about Christmas. The decorating, the baking, the shopping, the wrapping, the parties. I love all of it.

And this year I've stepped up my game a little bit.

I used to just hang stockings on the mantle and considered that down done. But this year I actually decorated our mantle. And I love it.

I used pre-lit garland as the base, added red tealight holders and red votive holders and placed Christmas trees at the ends. I love love love the reds and the glow of the lights at night.

Even my wrapping has gotten so much better this year. Dare I say, it even it even looks like something I saw on Pinterest.
