Book Review: Her Fearful Symmetry

Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger

A woman dies of cancer and leaves an odd inheritance to her American twin nieces that she only met as babies - her London apartment - with the request that their parents never set foot in it. The twins, who are in their early twenties, college drop outs, were eager for the adventure that moving to a different continent would present to them. Only there's more waiting for them at their aunt's apartment than just her furniture.

This is a strange book. Even after finishing and discussing the book, I'm still not entirely sure how I feel about it. It was interesting; the plot being different from many other books. But I didn't think it was great.

The one good thing about this book is that it does provide for a good, interesting discussion.

Next month - The Lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver
