A Decade Later

Ten years ago, I graduated from high school. (I actually meant to write this post a month ago when it was officially ten years, but I got a bit distracted.)

While I was packing up for our big move, I came across my scrapbook from my senior year in high school. I flipped through it for some laughs and a stroll down the lane of memory. At the back of the book was a page that was meant for predictions for my future. It was titled 10 Years From Now...

I had made four predictions:

  1. Education: master's degree in communications (Integrated marketing communication actually, but pretty damn close. So check.)
  2. Career: public relations practitioner (My first job after I received my master's degree. Check.)
  3. Living: bought a house (Check!)
  4. Relationship: married with at least one kid (Okay, I missed this one. But I think DBF goes in the win column.)

I had completely forgotten about these predictions. But three out of four is a damn good batting average. If I do say so myself. And I'll be able to walk into that reunion proud that I've met so many of my goals. Now if I just knew when and where the reunion will be.

Missing one isn't bad.

I would also like to know your plans for the next 10 years?
