Grey's Anatomy S3ep21

I love the penis fish story line. What a great source of funny one-liners: V.I.Penis, fish up my hoohoo, he doesn't have women parts, instant karma and of course just the thought of a fish swimming up a guy's penis is hilarious. And the adultress was confessing to two adultering doctors and was worried that they were judging her - it just doesn't get much better than that. Then there's the aha moment for George when Nancy tells him that the wife always knows. BTW - anyone recognize Nancy? She was Gail Leery, Dawson's philandering mom on Dawson's Creek.

George and Izzie continue to have great tension that makes for great TV. I have a confession to make. I'm warming up to the thought of them together. It seemed so far-fetched at first but now it's starting to make some sense.

I'd like to slap some sense into Derek but I can understand his reasons for being hesitant. Just as Meredith's worked through her demons, Derek realizes his and now he has to work through it on his own. It's not something she can help with.

Alex, Addison and Mark. Addison and Alex were on a crash course for each other. They're both highly sexually charged and the attraction was intense. I hope the return to Asshole Alex is brief, I was enjoying the growth. Mark was just a stand in for her. She hasn't cared about him in a long time, and I think it's awful the way she's treated him. Some of it may be deserved but not all of it. He genuinely cared for her and was trying to change. She hurt Mark and Alex hurt her. But this is what drives her to LA next week.

So next week is our first look at the possible Addison spin-off. I'm looking forward to it. The cast is promising, I hope the writing is up to par.

Lost S3ep18

To quote Joey Lawrence, Whoa!

Mikhail is alive, Jin is the father and Oceanic Flight 815 had been found with no survivors.

So Mikhail didn't die. I must admit I'm kinda excited about that as I really enjoyed the character and was disappointed in the limited amount of time he was on. But the question remains of how. Was it an act? They felt for a pulse and couldn't find one. Granted they're not doctors, but I'm pretty sure that Locke and Sayid know how to find a pulse and can find one readily. Was it a drug, herb or potion like from Romeo and Juliet? Curse those Lost writers who for every answer give us what seems like 10 more questions.

I was hoping that Jin wouldn't be the father because it would be further proof for my suspicions of Sun. But her halo was tarnished just a little more this episode. She succumbed to blackmail, threatened a woman and blackmailed her own father. Plus, she's the reason that her father "promotes" Jin to work for him. I wonder what his reaction would be if he found out about that. Word on the street, that being the street of the virtual kind, is that there'll be five more deaths before the end of this season, and it's promised to be a mix of Losties and Others. Maybe Sun will be one of them considering the precedent of pregnant women on the island? I'd be okay with that.

According to the new visitor, whose name is Naomi I believe, Oceanic Flight 815 has been found, and no one had survived the crash. So what does this mean for our Losties? Well, for one, no one is looking for them. They were put on a fake flight that was purposely going to the island? They've entered an alternate reality? Some sort of time continuum? The possibilities are endless, and I have no idea. What are your theories for this new piece of information? Leave a comment.

Here's a sneak peek at "DOC", tomorrow's episode. BTW - DOC stands for date of conception. As you may have guessed by this, we're supposed to learn the identity of Sun's baby's daddy. Plus, our parachuter is supposed to reveal some goodies (my sources say something about Oceanic 815).

Grey's Anatomy S3ep20

This episode had everything - humor, tension, drama, conflict, that thing that pulls at your heart strings

Humor. The Chief trying to flirt in the elevator. Poor thing. It's been so long, and he's so lost that he has no idea what to do. Best line: Sloane "We'll make a great team". He may be sucking up to the Chief in the hopes that he'll become chief, but it's still hot. And the Chief was so cute practicing on Addison.

Tension. George and Izzie. She went to confession to ease her guilt over the George sex. He just feeling guilty and in denial over the whole thing. And in the meantime, there's so much sexual tension between them that it's reverberating. Next he's dressing her and encouraging her to take a peek at her daughter. Also, there's the tension between George and Callie. That's only headed for disaster.

Drama. Derek contemplating Meredith or the chief position. Miranda is right, when it comes down to it, you always should choose the people you love over a position or things. Also, the debut of Izzie's daughter. Her hesitation and heartbreak when her daughter didn't want to meet her was so touching. And when the adoptive mom said "our daughter" she didn't mean her and her husband's - it was mother to mother plea, she mean hers and Izzie's daughter.

Conflict. Christina and Marlowe passive aggressively fighting. And Christina's right, sometimes you have to think of other people's needs over your own. I only hope she remembers that lesson.

That thing that pulls at your heart strings. Miranda, how great was she? She may be a tough boss, but she genuinely cares about her interns. She wants to see them learn, do well and become the best surgeons they can. And when they need her, she's always there. That's why she's going to make an excellent chief. And that's why she is hands down the BEST character on this show.

Okay, so this episode didn't have everything. It was missing the sex. But considering that the repercussions from the last sex were still being dealt with in this episode, I think it's a safe omission.

Lost S3ep17

So Desmond was in a monastery. That's hot. And it explains the whole "brother" business. Okay, probably not but it's a fun idea. And he was engaged before Penny. Interesting. He clearly has commitment issues.

Sawyer is so cute hitting on Kate. Things have changed dramatically since their, um, coming together in the bear cage, and he's not quite sure if she's still in the same place as he is. It's not just sex to him. He clearly has feelings for her. It's evident by his face. And she uses him because Jack no longer looks at her the way he used to. It's Juliet who he looks at and who's become his confidant. She's so jealous that it drives her to Sawyer. But he's smart, during ping pong he puts it together that she only came to him because she saw Jack having dinner with Juliet. And when he called her on it, she denied, denied, denied. She's just going to end up hurting Sawyer.

And who was the chick at the end? It wasn't Penny. For a split second, I thought maybe it was Ruth, but I don't think it's her either. So who is it and why did she have a picture of Desmond and Penny?

ANSWER - Tuesday Trivia: Animals

How do nine-banded armadillos get across small bodies of water?

Either by gulping air into their stomach and intestines and floating across, or by sinking to the bottom of shallow water and using their claws to walk across. They can hold their breath for about six minutes.

Grey's Anatomy clips show

I didn't expect them to go all the way back to season one with the clips tonight, but they did. It definitely brought the whole story into perspective and allowed us to see exactly how far the interns have come (and the attendings) because sometimes it gets hard to see. Plus Denny was hosting, and I love Denny. Next week - all new!

Lost S3ep16

Jack's lines "She's under my protection" and "I trust her, do you trust me?" reminds me of another situation with one of my other minor obsessions. And he trusts her because one moment her eyes looked as if she wanted to get off the island? Stupid, naive Jack. He forgets over and over again how manipulative Ben can be and how he uses every piece of leverage over someone to get what he wants.

Sawyer's face when he saw Jack and searching then finding Kate nearly brought tears to my eyes. And she clearly has some real feelings for him too because did you see her face? And then there's their hug! Makes me squeal like a little girl.

So Juliet and Goodwin knew each other in that special carnal way. Interesting, especially considering at the beginning of the season I had assumed the relationship was between Juliet and Ben with her iciness towards him, but I'm not sure what that information adds to the greater story line. Maybe we'll find out later or maybe it's just one of those minor details the writers like to add.

Excellent scenes between Juliet and Ben. Now we know why she was crying in the season premiere: Ben wasn't going to let her go home.

Juliet pulled a Ben the way she was able to manipulate Sayid and Sawyer using their pasts. I was impressed with how well she did that. And based on the look on her face as she walked away with that case, so was she.

I knew we couldn't trust Juliet's story of being left behind - although part of me wanted to. So the whole thing was staged, including Claire getting sick, but why? What's the implant? What's going to happen in a week? Gah! Answers but more questions

Lost S3ep15

So Kate has a connection to Sawyer - that is besides the sexual one - she knew Cassidy. I wonder what she would do if she found out that Sawyer was the guy who conned her, impregnanted her and broke her heart. And is the reason that Locke doesn't trust or particularly like Kate anymore really because she killed her stepfather? I feel like there's more there we haven't been told yet.

I find it hypocritical that Kate is more than willing to beat the crap out of Juliet because of some well-place, and well-deserved I might add, jabs about Jack, but when she dislocates Juliet's shoulder, all of a sudden she's sorry and she didn't mean to and she's getting all whiny. Give me a break. You can't one minute want to inflict that much pain and then when you're successful feel bad about it.

Clearly the monster isn't a tool of the Others and possibly it was there before they got there, whoever the Others are. So is the monster the island manifested? Is this what Locke means when he talks about being connected to the island or whatever? Is it something to do with Dharma? From previous experience with the monster and those that have come in contact with it, Juliet's either doomed to die like Eko or she'll become a prophet like Locke. Or maybe something else will happen to her.

Hurley teaching Sawyer how to be nice to everyone is the... Best. Storyline. Ever. And then the big reveal that the vote was never planned, and Sawyer is the new leader. It is hilarious to watch Sawyer deliver backwards compliments and look to Hurley for advice and guidance. Of course, all of it is a result of not having Kate around. If Kate was there, he'd still be sarcastic and name calling but Kate carries a lot of clout and since they're friends, that would count a lot in his favor - even though Kate is the first one to call him out when he deserves it, and she's been noticeably distant since their tryst in the cage. But it is certainly endearing to watch as he begins to realize the responsibility of being the leader and that in fact no man is an island.

The Others left Juliet behind. Or they supposedly did. What if it's part of their plan to learn some information about the Losties that they don't have? Although what that would be exactly I don't know as they have dossiers on everyone and Locke is apparently working with them in some capacity now. Plus the fact that Ethan lived among them for who knows how long. But maybe she was really left behind because of her scarlet letter. They don't seem to play nicely with those that don't follow the tribal rules. And we know Juliet didn't. Will she transition into the Losties or will they more or less hold her hostage - although hostage for what I can't imagine. You can bet that Jack will go to bat for her and that will mean a lot to most people - not to Sawyer, Sayid or Kate though, but just about everyone else.

It's too bad that Sawyer's reign as leader is over next week. It would be so interesting to watch as he struggles with the position trying to do the right thing and make the living situation bearable for everyone while figuring out what to do about Sun. Will we learn more answers next week when Sayid interrogates Juliet? I remain hopeful.

A fantastic episode, especially considering last week. But then, just about any episode is better than last week's.
