I can hardly believe that after seven years of waiting, I'm less than a week away from knowing the end of Harry Potter. It seems like it's been forever and yet it seems like it has flown by. I want to take a moment and officially put my thoughts out there on some of the major questions leading into this final book.
Will Harry live? - Yes.
Is Snape good or evil? - Good.
Will Voldemort live? - No.
While I look forward to seeing whether I'm right or not, I'm really excited to learn more about the periphery stories and characters.

Neville's inevitable battle with Bellatrix
how Regulus was able to steal the locket
I saw the Order of the Phoenix movie this weekend and in general I liked it. I thought Helena Bonham Carter and Evanna Lynch as Bellatrix and Luna respectively were fantastic. Most excellent casting choices. Ginny was totally rocking with her Reductor spellwork, but then we already knew how powerful she is. And that fight scene between Dumbledore and Voldemort...OH...MY....GOD! Incredible!!! But I felt that it lacked something. And I don't mean specific storylines because I understand that the mediums are different and changes are expected. But I feel like it was missing some of the essence of the book...the overall feeling. I didn't feel the angst in the movie that I get from the book which is so essential. Now I gotta go see it in IMAX for that 3D fight scene. Counting down the days...
