One of the best public universities in the country

This is not news to me. It's something I've known for a very long time, even before I applied. Texas A&M is one of the top 5 public universities in the country, at least according to a new ranking by Washington Monthly. Here's a column recommending A&M as the best public university for the Christian conservative. While I may no longer consider myself completely conservative, it's still a great school because although A&M is not without its problems and intolerance for those left of the middle exists (as it does elsewhere), you are taught values such as not to discriminate against others simply because they have a differing opinion. I have changed and grown much in the last 8 years, but those lessons stay with me, and I would not change my decision to attend A&M for any amount of money or opportunity.
